For some phases, the current transformers have been connected vice versa. This results in an inverted sign for the power measurements for respective phases. However, this does not affect the absolute values measured.

We have applied the following adjustments for wrongly connected converters:

  • Active power: multiplied by -1 for incorrectly connected phases
  • Reactive power: multiplied by -1 for incorrectly connected phases. The reason is that a wrong-way connection causes an additional phase-shift between current and voltage of 180 degrees. That is, inductive reactive power is misinterpreted as capacitive reactive power and vice versa.

We have also corrected quantities that are derived from active and reactive power:

  • Power factor: multiplied by -1
  • Sum of active and reactive power: recalculated using individual phase measurements
  • The total power factor: recalculated using the corrected sum of active power. The sign of the total power factor depends on the corrected total reactive power.
