29.07.2016 - Visit at bioliq®

On Friday, the 29th of July, the group of graduates and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klemens Böhm visited the facilities of bioliq® located at Campus North of the KIT.

After a detailed explanation of the different processes and systems that are involved in turning biomass into fuels the group was guided through the plant by Dr.-Ing. Bernd Zimmerlin and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Sauer. In a subsequent discussion, current and possible data-aided practices in the operation of the plant and possibilities for future cooperation between the graduate group and the institutes involved at bioliq® were collected and discussed.
